Be Prepared Not Panicked!
With a tropical cyclone on our doorstep it is time to be prepared but not panicked. It's time to check on friends and family and visitors, especially if new to town. JAN 23, 2024 Whilst cyclones are unpredictable and we still don’t know what path Cyclone Kirrily will take, it is important that we do prepare our homes and our community for the worst situation. Whilst there is no need to panic there are a few things we should be looking to do over the next couple of days: Be prepared 🌀Clean up your yard and tie down any loose items. 🌀Stock up a first aid kit, batteries, drinking water and non-perishable food items enough for at least 3 days. 🌀Check on your family, friends and neighbours, especially if they are elderly. 🌀Have a plan of where you can go if there comes a need to evacuate.
