March has been a busy month in the Whitsunday Electorate and in Parliament. Here's a snapshot of some of the community events I have been proud to support and details of major announcements

February certainly got off to a wet start for the Whitsundays, but this didn't dampen spirits or prevent me from getting out and about in our region to be part of many local events.

The long weekend was the perfect opportunity for many of us to visit our region's beaches, parks and venues to celebrate our Aussie way of life!🩴🌊🏖️🌭

It has been a big year for our Region and State, and I look forward to working for you and our community in 2025. Wishing you and your family a safe and happy festive season.

Qld Health plan to shut the helipad at the Mackay Base Hospital for the duration of the hospital redevelopment, which could take 3 years. This decision will risk lives.

Machinery and workers are back on site at the Shute Harbour and Paluma Road roadworks. I'm yet to receive official confirmation, but I will keep advocating until works are delivered as promised.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the community and all should be celebrated. This month we shine the spotlight on the VMR Midge Point and Paul Bowman Challenge volunteers👏

The community has had their say regarding upgrades needed for Mackay Bucasia Road and after a month of engagement over 555 submissions were received, which is a fantastic effort.
